I bought this at Home Depot hoping to use it on some lower end bikes that we are rebuilding. I pulled it out of the packaging, and could only get it to ratchet in one direction. Flipping the switch, it stopped ratcheting all together. I tapped in on the ground, flipped the switch back and forth, but the barrel just spins with no take-up. This will go back to Home Depot for a return.

I use this adjustable ratcheting wrench to work my car jack. There's a rectangle thing with a hole in it that you're supposed to turn to raise/lower the car. The adjustable ratchet grips the rectangle reasonably well and the ratcheting action speeds the process along a lot, no more bloody knuckles.
It's by no means, a precision instrument. I did need to "re-adjust" the wrench for a better grip on the jack, but it took me less than 10 minutes to change a tire in 10 degree weather this morning.

This wrench is great. Mainly I use it for tightening the handle of clamps. It saves my hands from much strain and pain. The fact that it has the feature to tighten hooks and such items is fantastic. It has not slipped on a nut even when I used it to loosen the nut from my oil pan on my car. Overall WORKS GREAT. Just wish they made a bigger one.
